Safety is the number one priority at Storkcraft®. With your family always top of mind, our dedicated team of experts is committed to ensuring your Storkcraft® product complies with all current and applicable category safety standards. Our products undergo rigorous testing from independent, accredited laboratories to meet or exceed all applicable mandatory and voluntary safety standards for their particular product category.
A wide variety of our products—including cribs, mattresses, changing pads, toddler guardrails, toddler beds, changing tables, dressers, chests, and nightstands—are GREENGUARD Gold certified. Certified products are screened for more than 10,000 chemicals and VOCs known to pollute indoor air, and contribute to cleaner indoor air for you and your family.
All Storkcraft® changing pads are UL Formaldehyde Free Certified. The Formaldehyde-Free Claim Verification by UL Environment is given to products that have been screened to be free from formaldehyde.
All of our cribs, mattresses, changing pads, toddler guardrails, toddler beds, and changing tables are certified by the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA). This means that they've been expert tested by third- party, accredited laboratories to meet or exceed all applicable category voluntary and mandatory safety standards.
Our selection of foam Graco® mattresses utilize CertiPUR-US® Certified foam mattress
cores. Certified flexible polyurethane foams meet CertiPUR-US® program standards for content, emissions and durability, and are analyzed by independent, accredited testing laboratories.
Remember, if your crib is 10 years old or more, do not use it — purchase a new one.
Please always be sure to carefully check your baby crib to ensure that it is in good working condition, and to check for missing hardware and/or any broken or missing parts. We strongly advise against purchasing or using a second-hand crib. Many second-hand cribs may not meet the current safety standards, and can pose numerous safety risks for your child.

By registering your product with Storkcraft®, we'll be able to keep you informed in the event of a product recall, and advise you on the necessary steps to take in order to keep your family safe.
One drawer at a time: Meet our safety-focused interlocking drawer system
Why does only one drawer on your Storkcraft® or Graco® dresser open at a time? Meet our innovative and safety-focused interlocking drawer system — engineered for your family’s safety, by our team of dedicated experts. For added safety, our chests and dressers feature an interlocking drawer system (only one drawer can open at a time) and include a tip-over restraint kit that, when used in tandem, are intended to minimize furniture tip-over hazards.
Our new offering of Storkcraft® and Graco® chests and dressers include this interlocking drawer system, and have been tested to meet or exceed all applicable category safety standards.
